To my surprise such a lovely cactus! This came with the small house we currently have. This is the first time it bloomed. I couldn't believe how beautiful and fragrant it was! The flowers only last one day.
I'm lucky to be able to spend a small part of the winter in Arizona. It's about 40 miles north of the border and just 20 miles north of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. I enjoy taking photos of the desert southwest, cacti blooms are my favorite subject. I will share photos of life in the desert as we run across interesting things like wild burros and the beautiful spring flowers in the desert. Yes, those are wild burros at the top of the page and taken near Burro Gap.

Aw, only one day! Sort of like Day Lilies. It's just such a soft, beautiful color. Nice work!
The view of the Organ Cactus and the moon is beautiful.
